Rubies/Sapphires/Fansy Saphhires (not blue or red) - They are actually of the same material!. There is a small amount of chemicals that create the color variations. Lab grown sapphires are the exact same material as natural sapphires, only lacking the impurities (inclusions etc) the natural rock suffers but gaining in your "bang for the buck" exponintionaly! Being one of the hardest rocks (trumped by diamond) they are durable, long lasting and will keep their shine for a lifetime!
The blue saphhire below actually is 2 rocks glued together. After cutting the gemstone the glue was dissolved and 2 halves were seperated for a matched "sister" pair of necklaces.
Zircon - slightly harder than quartz, coming in many beautiful colors zircon, and rarer than a diamond zircon is a unique and interesting choice! as you can see below the colors are quite vibrant. The rocks below are all 15-35 ct
